  8. So basically the year is equally cut into 3 by SFU. If you do 3 semesters a year, you only have 2 weeks break in between. If you take a summer break, you will be enjoying 4 months break but you have to live in hell in the other 2 semesters or become 6-year person like you said. This might be the reason.
