In the first year only, you may be able to qualify using an estimate of what your income will be for the upcoming year. If you overestimate your income, you may qualify for additional retroactive payments. If you underestimate your income, you’ll be required to pay back all payments resulting from this error.

Since Mom was only on Medicaid 5 months so no reapplying but nephew gets medical thru Medicaid. He gets paperwork every year asking if money has been transferred in that year. I include need to include the latest statement.
