If you are dealing with this in all of your classes so far, and need to take a break from higher education, look into late withdrawals due to exceptional circumstances (and if you don't qualify for that, academic renewal for the semester if you fail most of your classes).
It is preferable to withdraw by meeting with an advisor. It's important to make sure that your official withdrawal was processed. If you can’t meet with an advisor, you can usually also officially withdraw from classes using your online student account. You never want to just stop attending classes.
You will be considered withdrawn if: You miss two consecutive weeks of study (no attendance), or. You drop below 60% of a full-time course load for three consecutive weeks of study, or. You miss enough classes that school officials feel you cannot successfully complete the program.
