Wait 24-48 hours for the PRESTO network to update. Tap your card to a PRESTO device within 30 days to update your card's registration. It's a a security feature should you lose your card between loading it and tapping it. Once you tap, your purchase remains there until you use it - i.e. no 30 day requirement.
