The TA offered to re-grade the assignment if the "issue" was fixed, so it is highly unlikely anything serious is going to happen here. I would bet $100 on it. I have had scary moments too but a lot of them turn into nothing when you sit down and go through the logic of it instead of just worrying without thinking critically about the situation.
May 21, 2024 · Similarity reports may be slightly delayed if Turnitin goes down; however, Moodle will keep automatically resubmitting the paper until service is restored, at which point the similarity report will be generated. Typically, no further action will be required in Moodle to make this happen.
First, the AI detector is pure rubbish. It was done very fast and even AI companies have difficulties creating AI detectors, so Turnitin is not going to be able to do one in a couple of months. Second, 23% chance of being generated by AI is very low. Third, upload readings from the class and see what Turnitin says.
Jul 1, 2024 · Turnitin is unable to extract the text from within a file using the following acceptable file types: Adobe® PDF - Turnitin will not accept PDF image files, forms, or portfolios, files that do not contain highlightable text (e.g. a scanned file - usually an image), documents containing multiple files or files created with software other than Adobe Acrobat®.
That I don’t know, but if you submit the same thing for another class it’s most likely going to come up with a 100% similarity check which in turn can get you in trouble for plagiarism. If I was in this situation I would reach out to my professor and turnitin customer service
