May 17, 2017 · Jessica's Story (Most Plausible w/evidence) So we can all agree that Outlast 2's ending is very confusing at first. It took me a few hours before I could even process what had happened. In the end, I didn't really care about the main story with Blake and Lynn. I was more invested in Blake and Jessica's story. It was very nice and sad and amazing.
Blake imagines he is escorting Jessica out of the school when he's helping his wife Lynn get far away enough to "deliver the baby". The part where he says he's helping Jessica go find an adult is in a recording, where all of his crazy thoughts are from , where he's been confusing the past with the present throughout the majority of the game.
