- Fans Can Further Appreciate The Amazing Visuals. The Harry Potter movies have some of the best landscapes, special effects, and overall visuals of any movie franchise, especially considering that Philosopher's Stone was released in 2001.
- It Gets Easier To Recognize The Spells. There are dozens of spells cast within the eight Harry Potter movies, all with unique and sometimes confusing names.
- Viewers Can Pay More Attention To Minor Characters. There are so many characters in the Wizarding World that it can be hard to keep them all straight.
- Harry And Voldemort's Connection Is Easier To Understand. Harry and Voldemort share a bond that keeps them bound together in a magical way throughout the series, including brother wands that come from the same phoenix.
Hardest to rewatch is GoF. The whole Yule Ball stuff derails the entire movie causing the 2nd and 3rd trials to be rushed. The graveyard scene kind of saves it from being a complete wreck but it's head and shoulders the worst of the series (IMO). Agree with you 100% about Columbus/CoS.

- 1 Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. To take the cake, we have the film that started it all: Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone. Seeing Harry discover that he is a wizard for the first time is such an iconic film moment that we will never forget.
- 2 Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. The first two Harry Potter films are in a league of their own. Setting the tone for a series like Harry Potter is not easy.
- 3 Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2. Who doesn't love a good ending? The second part of the franchise's climax, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2, definitely picks up the pace as the war finally begins.
- 4 Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. Sirius Black is one of the most beloved characters in this series. Therefore, his introduction in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban is definitely a fan favorite.
Prisoner of Azkaban, Goblet of Fire, Order of the Phoenix and Half-Blood Prince (and both Deathly Hallows unfortunately only have a few scenes that look good) are the only ones that are shot well. I can't recommend these movies enough to people. 9 out of 10 movie series. 2.
