Jan 4, 2022 · If a person truly desires to know God, God will make Himself known. The problem is “there is no one who understands, no one who seeks God” (Romans 3:11). People reject the knowledge of God that is present in nature and in their own hearts, and instead decide to worship a “god” of their own creation.

The way they know God is by the way God has made the world and their own consciences (Romans 1:19–20). Even though they know God, no one who knows God anywhere in the world honors God as God or gives him thanks (Romans 1:21).
He wouldn’t be struggling with issues like the existence of God if he weren’t unusually intelligent and deeply reflective for a child his age. Given this encouraging bent in his personality, it’s not surprising that he’s grappling with questions that don’t occur to many people until much later in life.

Nov 19, 2013 · 1. Just because you can’t see or (audibly) hear God doesn’t mean He isn’t real. There are many things that are real that we can’t actually see. We can’t always see air, for example, but we know it’s real. Discuss examples of things you and your kids can think of that you can’t see but know to be real.

May 13, 2021 · 7. Pray for your child when they doubt or stop believing in God. Pray. I add this to assure you, even though it is common advice, to not minimize the power of prayer. Let it shape both you and your child in ways that bring God’s grace and truth to life. Some will even add some sort of fasting to their prayer strategy.
