Sep 28, 2021 · About iMessage and SMS/MMS - Apple Support -- Since you're only receiving blue (iMessages) and not receiving green (SMS), on your iPhone go to Settings > Messages, and make sure that "Send as SMS" and "MMS Messaging" are both turned on. Next, scroll up to the top of the Setting and make sure that your telephone number appears in "Send & Receive".
