Well, to make the .jar file open with Java again, right click it, and click properties: (disregard the other files, I've already run this server) In the window that pops up, click on "Change": In the window that pops up, click "More Apps", and select Java: Click OK, and then click Apply, and OK in the window that it goes back to.

Oct 22, 2022 · Try executing the .jar file from command line (that is, open a command prompt and navigate to the folder containing the server .jar file via this command: cd C:\Users\MYNAME\Desktop\NewMinecraft and then execute the jar file with this command: NOTE: you should be able to press TAB after typing a few charachters of the .jar file for it to autofill.
