Seeing as you're asking theoretically, it's best to be proactive about this. Step 1: Head to https://www.prestocard.ca/en/ and sign up for an account. Now that you've done that, register the card you have and attach it to your new account. Step 2: Spend $6 and buy another Presto card.
If your physical PRESTO card is ever lost or stolen, you can cancel it and transfer funds to another physical PRESTO card.
