If your PRESTO card wasn’t registered to an account when it was lost, stolen or damaged, you can’t cancel your card or transfer your balance. This includes PRESTO in Mobile Wallet cards. Create a PRESTO account and add your card to it to protect your balance.

Since you registered it, no one can try to register the card you lost to another account. Easy peasy. It'll be even more so once Presto gets into the 2020s and allows you to load your card directly to an NFC device like a phone or smartwatch.
If your card is ever lost or stolen, your funds are protected. You can also review your card activity and set up Autoload and Autorenew to have funds or transit passes automatically added to your card.
If you happened to note down the card number and verification code or take a picture of the back of the card, you can register it to an account and report it lost. Otherwise, you are most likely out of luck. If you think you dropped it on the TTC you could try their lost property office at 416 393 4100.
