If your PRESTO card wasn’t registered to an account when it was lost, stolen or damaged, you can’t cancel your card or transfer your balance. This includes PRESTO in Mobile Wallet cards. Create a PRESTO account and add your card to it to protect your balance.

Find answers to all your questions about reporting your lost or stolen card and transferring your balance to another card on the same account or to a new replacement card.
If your card has been lost or stolen visit our Lost or Damaged Card page to learn how to transfer your balance to a new card. Some local transit agencies will provide a PRESTO card refund in person, if the balance on your card is less than $50.
Cancel it in the app, it will protect your balance. But it will only do that if you registered your Presto card in the app. Once you get a new card you can transfer the balance over. If you didn’t register it, you’re SOL.

If a card is lost, stolen or damaged and has been registered, log into your account at prestocard.ca, click on Report Now and read the instructions. Alternatively, you can call PRESTO at 1-877-378-6123 to report the card lost or stolen.
