Was loading my presto this morning via the mobile app, and had it decline a certain method twice. Both times it did actually charge my credit card, but it didn't add any funds. Is this a common issue/what are my chances of getting that money back?
Accepted shops that are paid by Presto are paid on Monday and Thursday mornings (holidays included). If your shop was accepted after payroll on a Monday or Thursday, you will be paid on the next payroll. Accepted shops that are not paid by Presto are paid by the mystery shopping company.
Tapped my Presto card and nothing happened (gates didn't open, no message on the screen). Figuring it just didn't 'take', I tapped it again and got a 'declined' message (which is what happens when you double-tap your card). Talked to the fare collector, and she told me I didn't pay a fare, and that the gate was out of service.

Wait 24-48 hours for the PRESTO network to update. Tap your card to a PRESTO device within 30 days to update your card's registration. It's a a security feature should you lose your card between loading it and tapping it. Once you tap, your purchase remains there until you use it - i.e. no 30 day requirement.
