But if YTTV was $50 without sports channels it would be a lousy value. Someone could just get Hulu and Peacock and Paramount+ for less and have many more options. The sports channels are driving a much larger share of the YTTV price.
Give me my sports, get rid of all the channels they've added and bring the price back down to $35 like when I first joined. I wouldn't be opposed to 2 separate plans and a bundle to save money. From what I've read its the non sports channels that demand to be included in everything though.

Their carriage agreements with the major content distributors seem to be an "all or nothing" kind of deal: -To carry CBS, you must carry Pop, Smithsonian, CBS Sports Network.
