Sep 20, 2024 · 10-point performance rating scale examples. While not as popular due to its extensiveness, a 10-point performance rating scale is a system where employees are assessed on a scale from 1 to 10, with each point on the scale corresponding to a different level of performance.
Characteristics and points on the scale should be clearly defined. Use the appropriate type of scoring rubric for the purpose of assessment. Between three and seven rating positions should be provided. Rate performance of all students on one task before going on to the next one.
This resource provides some examples for rating scales to consider as you develop a grading rubric; from three levels (e.g. weak, satisfactory, strong) to six levels (e.g. Unacceptable, Emerging, Minimally Acceptable, Acceptable, Accomplished, Exemplary).
