At the conclusion of the 2019-20 season the CSSHL decided that having competitive games was more important that just playing games. As a result the league decided to run a pilot project during 2020-21 Female U18 Prep Division showcases as tiered events with best on best competition. Unfortunately the project was postponed due to COVID.

Coeur d’Alene Hockey Academy is a proud member of the prestigious Canadian Sport School Hockey League (CSSHL). The Academy has been the only US member since 2013. During the 2022-23 season, CDA will be participating in the Male U-18 & Male U-17 Divisions. Our 16U Prep Team will play Exhibition games vs. CSSHL teams.

Founded in 2009, the five original members of the CSSHL were the Banff Hockey Academy, Edge School, International Hockey Academy, Okanagan Hockey Academy and the Pursuit of Excellence.
