All decking material shall be 2x6 or 5/4 (five-quarter) board. Attach decking to each joist with a minimum of (2) ring shank 8D nails or 2-1/2” wood screws. Deck-ing may be applied diagonally at a 45 degree angle perpendicular to the joists.
