An under-appreciated part of a photographer’s kit, especially for landscape photography, is a good flashlight. The $45 water-resistant Coast G55is my choice today. You can twist the head to go from a narrow spotlight to an ultra-wide beam, and there are three different brightness levels to choose from – all of which are essential features to me, both for Milky Way photography and for getting to and from my location for sunrise and sunset photos.
