   I play on pc and love to sometime lean back in my chair for solo voyages with a ps4 controller. The problem is ps4 isn't supported by SoT officially and hense so all the buttons are the xbox button images.

   The better question would be: Can you use a PS4 controller, which I highly doubt. But I have DS4Windows, so nothing to be afraid of :D. I play with my Xbox One S controller all the time. There is an adapter called, "Microsoft Xbox One Wireless Adapter for Windows 10" that I use with it.

   • Sea of Thieves recognizes the controller and will let me through the "press start to continue" page using the controller input. It switches the icons in game to show that a controller is being used but there is zero input from any buttons or joysticks. Keyboard and mouse work perfectly fine.    • However that's not a guarantee since SoT is Microsoft, but no harm in trying, however there are very good alternative replacements for the PS4 controller if that doesn't work. The Steelseries Stratus Duo is very similar stick wise but with the Xbox style size. There is also the 8Bitdo Pro 2. Which should emulate that PS4 controller feel for PC.
