Someone I know recently (today) used their phone to play Total Drama Roblox, and when they hit play a message came up asking them for voice chat. Has anyone else seen this? Their account age is 13+, but they still have the Verify My Age button in settings, so they never verified.

Aug 23, 2023 · roblox support told me it wasn’t possible for them to manually verify for the voice chat feature over email, and said the only way was to verify under account settings - which i know isn’t true since people are getting this feature without verifying their identity at all. does anyone know anything? appreciated. 37 Likes.
Users not in these countries should use ID verification to enable chat with voice. All 13+ users, who are phone number verified, can opt-in to use this feature by visiting their Settings page. They will then be able to use chat with voice in any Roblox experience that supports it.
Jun 13, 2024 · You can now use voice chat on Roblox to get help in creating a game or becoming a better player. If you don't have this feature, your account may be under 13+ or you haven't been chosen as a beta tester. If your account is 13+, you'll need to wait a bit longer for the beta to completely roll out.
