- As of Minecraft 1.18, the height limit has been changed to 319, and the lower limit is now -64. This change increases the total height of the world by 128 blocks. Players can now build 64 blocks higher into the sky, as well as explore another 64 blocks deeper into the ground.

Here is a quick showcase of the new (updated) world generation for Minecraft 1.19.2, it changes the world height (Y 1024) and depth (options - Y -128, Y -256, and Y -512). Also, adds new custom geodes ... the deeper you go, the better they get.
Nov 26, 2023 · We all know that after the update 1.18 the build limit changed to 384 blocks, sadly there's people like me that wanted to have a higher build limit, so we could recreate such things as really tall skyscrapers, that's why I've created this datapack, to help build higher without needing any mods.
