Nov 26, 2018 · In this case, they should be O2 sensor on that generation CRV. Sensor 1 should bounce between somewhere around half a volt and 1 volt. Bank 2 should stay fairly steady on the lower end of that range if the sensor and CAT are working correctly. If there is a rich condition the voltage will be higher, and lower voltages indicate a lean condition.
May 31, 2019 · Your CR-V will likely throw P0420 or the P0430 code. To diagnose a downstream O2 sensor failure, you can use an OBD2 scanner to check for diagnostic trouble codes related to the sensor. Upstream O2 Sensor Failure. Your Honda CR-V’s upstream O2 sensor(s), also known as the pre-catalytic converter sensor, measures the air-to-fuel ratio in your ...
Feb 15, 2023 · The 1st sensor is located closest to the engine, and the last is located toward the rear of the exhaust system. Generally, if we are talking about O2 sensors: Sensor 1 = Before Catalytic converter Front (Upstream O2 sensor) Sensor 2 = After Catalytic Converter Rear (Downstream O2 sensor) Some diesel engines have many exhaust temperature sensors ...

Sep 5, 2021 · Swap your CR-V’s Bank 2 Sensor 1 O2 sensor with the Bank 1 Sensor 1. They will be on or right after the exhaust manifold on either side. Run the engine until the check engine light comes back on. If the code changes to P2A00(which indicates the O2 sensor on Bank 2 is out of range), that is enough proof that you need a new O2 sensor.
