The museum is a state-of-the-art 7,500-square foot interactive facility, chronicling the history of sports in Tennessee from the early 1800s to contemporary stars. Explore their newly opened exhibit on Pat Summitt and see other displays on Olympians, Steeplechase, legendary athletes such as Peyton Manning… and many more!

At the Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame, sponsored by the Tennessee Lottery, our goal is to enshrine these athletes and teams for their dedication, hard work and contribution to Tennessee sports.
There is more to the Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame than what is confined between the museum walls. The Hall serves as a platform to connect athletes, coaches, sports fans, and supporters by acknowledging life achievements implemented through sports.
Criteria: The Hall of Famers have been so honored based upon their ability, longevity, integrity, sportsmanship, character, and their contribution to their team and the game of baseball.
One museum that is definitely a "must-see" attraction for sports fans is the Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame. It's probably the most convenient, too, because it is located at 501 Broadway, in the Bridgestone Arena, also home to the Nashville Visitor Center.
The Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame Museum, Presented by the Tennessee Lottery is closed as we prepare a new museum in downtown Nashville. Our new home be located at the New Nissan Stadium, when it opens in 2027.
