JMS actually confirmed that Babylon 5 was being removed because the contract expired. The rest is speculation that the contract might be renewed or extended (which is actually still in play) but allowed for (and pretty much bet upon) the probability that it hasn't been and advised anyone rewatching should get it done before the 25th.
