Wood or hyphae is a block that has the log's "bark" texture on all six sides. It comes in ten types: oak, spruce, birch, jungle, acacia, dark oak, mangrove, cherry, crimson, and warped. Stripped wood or stripped hyphae is a variant obtained when any axe is used on wood or hyphae respectively. Wood also have many uses, ranged from building to crafting some other construction materials and items ...

A crafting recipe for wood has been added. Wood blocks have been added to the creative inventory. Wood now generates in the new villages.

Thank you scokeev9 for giving us permissionto port and update Premium Wood! Premium Wood was a mod that originally fixed things with oak and birch trees and it also allows crafting of different colored planks from those logs without adding any new block IDs. With the updated and port version, we’re only adding the new tree types that the mod added,...
If you are using the 1.14.4 and above version(s) of our ports, the textures have most likely been updated to fit with Minecraft. Programmer art is now built-in the mod, no extra installation required, unless you are on an older version: 1. https://moddinglegacy.com/resource-packs/ 2. https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/texture-packs/programmer-art
All of the trees, with the exception of the Apple Tree, add new wood types. You can create all of the usual wood crafted things such as planks, bookshelves, stairs, fences, gates, doors, trapdoors, pressure plates, buttons, etc.
You can find these trees naturally in Plains biomes. Also, apples can now be “picked” by right-clicking the apple leaf block. After a little while, the apple will grow back. Only blocks that originally had an apple on it will grow back, so the tree isn’t covered in apples.
These trees have dark orange leaves, and orange logs. You can find these trees naturally in Forests, Flower Forests, and/or Wooded Hills.
These trees have bright green leaves, with white flowers and white logs. You can find these trees naturally in Birch Forests.
These trees have green leaves and the bark of the log is tan but the inside is purple. You can find these trees naturally in Jungles.
These trees have green leaves and the bark of the log is a faded brown color but the inside is dark green. You can find these trees naturally in Swamps.
You can find these trees naturally in Mountains or Taigas. Be careful when growing these trees! They have a 10% chance of exploding instead of growing when bone mealed! Plant these saplings in a safe location away from anything you may care about! Magic tools are slightly stronger than your average wooden tools.

Birch Planks Spawn Command. The Birch Planks item can be spawned in Minecraft with the below command. Cheats must be enabled before this will work. If you are running the Essentials plugin, you will need to run /minecraft:give instead of simply /give. This is because the Essentials /give command overrides Minecraft's built-in command.

I'm making an adventure map, and I want to be able to fill a large section using the /fill command. I'm trying to fill it with spruce wood, but when I hover over the block, where it says the id for the fill command it just says planks. When I use planks in the command, it places oak wood planks. Is there any way to specify what types of planks ...

I am assuming you updated your world from alpha 1.1 or earlier to alpha 1.2 or beta? If so, the new leaf types (spruce and birch) will randomly replace the leaves already generated in your world. I assume this is because they had the same block ID.
