The UNIGATE ® IC2 by Deutschmann Automation contains all components that are required for the communication in a fieldbus in one single module. Therefore a developer does not have to take care for that detail any more, only a hardware redesign is necessary in order to integrate the UNIGATE ® IC2 and the required plug connectors. 2.2 Availability

The Deutschmann scripting language and the associated development environment "Proto-col Developer" are unchanged and of course also used in the new UNIGATE® IC2 series. UNIGATE® IC2 is available in the PROFIBUS, PROFINET, Fast Ethernet/Modbus TCP and EtherCAT version. Further bus variants will follow and will be announced separately.
The UNIGATE IC2 PROFINET uses new web and FTP servers, resulting in various changes and innovations. The servers are no longer permanently active, but can be activated as required. Access protection has also been improved. For further details, please refer to the manual.
