The discussion section can be written in 3 parts: an introductory paragraph, intermediate paragraphs and a conclusion paragraph. For intermediate paragraphs, a “divide and conquer” approach, meaning a full paragraph describing each of the study endpoints, can be used.
In a good discussion section, you should do the following: Reiterate the research problem or focus. Clearly connect the discussion of your results to your introduction, including your central argument, thesis, or problem statement. Provide a brief overview and in-depth interpretation of key findings/results.
