It's just stupid fun. Normal tarkov for me is agony (because I suck, skill issue and all that) arena has a more ideal progression system to normal tarkov and that makes my brain produce the happy chemicals despite me being shit. Arena is bad (better than MW3 tho fucking hell), but it's more fun than normal tarkov.
I've played tarkov for years. I've always been a solo player, and this is the state in which I enjoyed tarkov the most. I recently had just gotten access to arena and wanted to share some of my thoughts, and feedback in hopes that changes can be implemented.

Rating gained and lost needs to be based on who you're versing (for example if I beat a full team of C+ as a D+ player, I should get significantly more points) and vice versa (similar to the arena system in WoW or pretty much any other ranked system). Objective timers need to be minimum 10 seconds and should be the same timer on all maps.

Considering Escape from Tarkov Arena is still fresh, players should maintain patience —though, the preset progression needs to be changed immediately. Spending hours upon hours trying to progress to the next preset becomes mundane and boring, and I find myself heading back on the main title just to feel enjoyment again.
