    • It protects against sin. Psalm 119:11 says, “Your word I have hidden in my heart, that I might not sin against You” (NKJV). The Word of God will keep you away from sin when you study it, meditate on it day and night, keep it in your heart, and allow it to control your thoughts and actions.
