  8. The whole premise of Goodnight, Sweetheart is brilliant, the time-travel and the contrasts between life in WWII and the relative security of the 1990s. Some people have commented that it can't be funny with bigamy at the centre of the plot, and whilst I agree that there's nothing funny about infidelity, I'd suggest that a flawed central character is the mainstay of most British comedy.
