The official build of tModLoader will soon be reaching version 1.4, and as such, there will be no official support for 64-bit, which will, in turn, result in this version being deprecated. As a result, active development will end, as will the 64-bit tModLoader project.

But I swear it's the default version that installs but I haven't changed from 1.4 back to 1.3 in awhile now. 1.4 tModLoader is only 64-bit (doesn't even support 32-bit at this time). 1.3 tModLoader is 32-bit on Windows (64-bit on Mac and Linux). An unofficial 64-bit Windows version is available. I cant really find much info on this on steam.
