Jul 16, 2022 · Modloader Pro was made to be a more optimalized and user-friendly version of regular Modloader, that's why many mods weren't compatible with both Modloaders, the Pro was just programmed a lot differently. However Pro's maker quickly stopped working on it so now it's outdated and doesn't work correctly, and mod makers stopped making mods for it.

Mod Loader Pro, to my knowledge, was a fork of MSCLoader (the first mod loader for the game, to my knowledge) that briefly popped up last year for about three months. It's abandoned now and has not received any updates for over a year (while MSCLoader is still active), so you should avoid using it; this makes it kind of complicated since a few devs developed some Pro-exclusive mods.
