Sheffield Museums is the independent charity that operates six of the city’s leading museums and heritage sites: Abbeydale Industrial Hamlet, Graves Gallery, Kelham Island Museum, Millennium Gallery, Shepherd Wheel Workshop and Weston Park Museum.

- Site Gallery. The Site Gallery is a contemporary art space that features multimedia art installations, including digital and video art. The gallery is known for its innovative and thought-provoking exhibits and regularly hosts events, including workshops, screenings, and talks.
- Cupola Gallery. The Cupola Gallery is an independent art gallery that showcases a diverse range of art forms, including painting, sculpture, and ceramics.
Sheffield Galleries and Museums Trust, known as Museums Sheffield is a charity created in 1998 to run Sheffield City Council ’s non-industrial museums and galleries. Museums Sheffield currently manages three sites in the city: Graves Art Gallery, Millennium Gallery and Weston Park Museum.
With financial support and a bequest of artworks from local businessman John George Graves (1866-1945), the Graves Gallery, part of Sheffield Museums Trust since 2021, opened to the public in July 1934 above Sheffield's Central Library. The large collection charts the development of European and British art from the 16th-century to the present.
