The Yorkshire Natural History Museum is a small museum containing geological, palaeontological, and palaeobotanical material predominantly from Yorkshire, including a significant collection of Lower Jurassic Fossils from the Lias of the Yorkshire Coast.
Sheffield Museums is the independent charity that operates six of the city’s leading museums and heritage sites: Abbeydale Industrial Hamlet, Graves Gallery, Kelham Island Museum, Millennium Gallery, Shepherd Wheel Workshop and Weston Park Museum.
Sheffield Museums was established in 2021, uniting Sheffield Industrial Museums Trust and Museums Sheffield. We’re responsible for running six of the city’s leading museums, galleries, and historic sites and caring for the city’s collections.
