  1. Superman for All Seasons is a 4-issue comic book limited series written by Jeph Loeb with art by Tim Sale. [1] It was originally published by DC Comics in 1998, after their previous success, Batman: The Long Halloween. After that story's theme was holidays, this one's theme dealt with seasons.

  2. For All Seasons was an excellent take on the classic elements that make Superman, well, Superman. But what this story does SO well is capture Clark Kent, his parents, and Smallville. I've always preferred the small town, down to Earth, Clark Kent stories over the big galactic Superman adventures.

  3. I find ‘All Star’ is a real love letter to the silver age, and I find ‘For all Seasons’ is a perfect story for the post crisis, more human Superman. The art styles complement each other well though!

For All Seasons is one of the most emotionally resonant Superman stories ever told, and ...

Unfortunately, as far as I know, there have not been any attempts to adapt Superman for All Seasons in animation, and that breaks my heart a little bit. But thankfully, the footprint of For All Seasonscan be felt widely across Superman adaptations in the 21st century. Superman for All Seasons contributed one of the best templates for Smallville’s w...

For me, Superman for All Seasons is the quintessential, perfect, ultimate Superman story. Anyone can read this and enjoy it as their first Superman comic, and the nuance of the characterization is rewarding for long-time fans as well. For All Seasonscaptures the heart and humility of Superman without losing the toughness that makes him a fierce for...

  4. It’s the perfect response for Tarantino incorrect claim that Clark Kent is who Superman pretends to be as its Clark’s upbringing that makes him Superman. We get to see four key perspectives on him, and I especially loved Pa Kent’s very fatherly concern for the character.
