Unfortunately what it turned out to be was a book that read like a lecture aimed at ten-year-olds (or perhaps eight-year-olds), certainly not young adults - although the half-hearted attempt at romance and characters in their later teens seemed to indicate otherwise.

A gallon for $40. Then for $80. And then, it runs out. Suddenly people are going crazy – no one is driving, children are hungry, the stores are empty, and civilization is lost.

Oct 30, 2020 · It reminded me a bit about when your mom said at some point, I might butcher it, but she said something like, I think you should ask yourself why you’re trying so hard to be a child again. It really struck me because when you were a child, you were preoccupied with rather teenage concerns about food. Not to mention you got your period at age 10.
