Oct 13, 2022 · The Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) announced a new online commenting feature allowing the public to submit comments on proposed regulations published in the Canada Gazette before they become official.
Since fall 2022, a new commenting feature on the Canada Gazette website has brought even more say to Canadians, as they can now review and comment on proposed regulations online. In the past, Canadians sent their comments by mail and, later, by email.
The online commenting tool was available for a sample of proposed regulations since April 2021. However, as of Sept. 27, the feature is now available for all proposed regulations published in Part I of the Canada Gazette, Public Services and Procurement Canada announced on Sept. 27.
