Think it would’ve taken too long, ghost town is much more detailed and fleshed out than the actual game. Probably couldn’t have made a full map like that based on software limitations. Much like how trailers in old games featured better graphics. As someone else mentioned it was more detailed so it was strictly used for the opening cut scene.
Jun 4, 2006 · The closest thing to it would be the area commonly referred to as "Ghost Town", which in reality is nothing more than the part used in the opening cutscene. If you want to see it anyway, just fly a dodo north, over the mountains in SSV, and try to follow the road on the map which appears to go through the blocked off tunnels.
Feb 27, 2007 · The place isn't given a title (other than "Ghost Town") and it's not on the map of Liberty City either. The only use for it, like saintdave said, was in the intro. There's a lot of interesting things in GTA3, like Love's Disappearance and the blocked tunnel on Shoreside Vale (which claims to lead "upstate" in LCS).
Dec 26, 2006 · 1-Pick a dodo, align in the Runway facing YOUR BACK to stauton. Start taking it off like normally and then, turn right when the runway ends. 2-Go following the Land (but at it's side)and stay aware of some "empty" spots (blue hell entrance) and aware too about some water spots. 3-DON'T ENTER UNDERNEATH THE LAND!

Jul 5, 2003 · Ok, with that said I can go on. The ghost town is a secret island behind Shoreside Vale that was used in making the first part of the opening cinema of the game. Cool huh? O well. Anyway... (Only the bank scenes from the opening cinema are from the Ghost town, the rest with the bridge and everything was done at like, the real Staunton Island.)
