So, i was just playing on the latest 1.17 snapshot in java edition and just realized that the minimum Y level is 0, even though i remember that about 1 month ago or so i could go to like -64, was this feeature removed ore am i just making a mistake? Archived post.

Jun 17, 2021 · Description. I created a new world in 1.17 but when I dug down, I could not go below Y=0 as there was a layer of bedrock just like the previous versions. however there was still deepslate and everything else was normal for a 1.17 world. i just couldn't go below y=0.
