  5. Jun 17, 2021 · Description. I created a new world in 1.17 but when I dug down, I could not go below Y=0 as there was a layer of bedrock just like the previous versions. however there was still deepslate and everything else was normal for a 1.17 world. i just couldn't go below y=0.
