  1. So, i was just playing on the latest 1.17 snapshot in java edition and just realized that the minimum Y level is 0, even though i remember that about 1 month ago or so i could go to like -64, was this feeature removed ore am i just making a mistake?

  5. May 13, 2024 · The New Lowest Level: Y=-64. In the past, bedrock began generating at Y=0, limiting how far down you could dig before hitting an impenetrable barrier. The 1.18 update changed this by introducing a new "Deepslate" layer below Y=0, with bedrock now beginning at Y=-64.

  6. No. Sub y0 levels will be added in 1.18. NO. I went mining in 1.17.1 but every time I approach a y-level of 0, I would encounter bedrocks. But I remember there are negative y-level in 1.17, so….
