Oct 28, 2021 · The Minecraft 1.17 Caves and Cliffs update has so many attributes it's hard to keep up, and one of the most game-changing additions has almost flown by under the radar.
Bedrock is also 16 Render Distance. Higher render distance has no effect on entity distance on Bedrock. You can see all the entities at 61 blocks on Java & 64 on Bedrock. Some entities you can see a couple blocks further away on Java & Bedrock for some strange reason. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Left is Java Right is Bedrock. A quick performance comparison.
