Moral of the Poem. Poem “Don't be Afraid of the Dark” by Ruskin Bond addresses ways to get over the fear of the dark. When one is afraid of anything the best way to deal with it is to befriend it. One can learn to rest from nature after a tiring day. We should appreciate both the sun and the moon, the light and the dark.
