- The Wither. A summonable boss not essential to completing Minecraft's story, the Wither can be skipped entirely, but the nether stars it drops are core components in crafting beacon blocks.
- The Ender Dragon. The "final" boss of Minecraft's Survival Mode, the Ender Dragon, rules the End with an iron fist. Sporting a massive amount of health and a powerful breath attack, the Ender Dragon can't even be hurt until players destroy the end crystals surrounding it.

- Villagers. Villagers are by far the most intelligent mob in the game. They actively practice agriculture for numerous different crops. They have specialized jobs and trades within their villages, one of the hallmarks of an advancing civilization.
- Piglins. Piglins are the still-living inhabitants of the Nether, replacing the old zombie pigmen. They demonstrate their brains in their ability to trade with the player.
- Witch. Witches in the game are very smart regarding how they attack and buff themselves. They use potions as a means of attack and defense, which requires quite a bit of intelligence to brew.
- Shulkers. Shulkers are the sole surviving inhabitants of the cities scattered across the islands of the End dimension. They demonstrate their intelligence in how they attack the player and defend themselves from an attack.

Nov 30, 2021 · Mob Changes. Unfortunately, there are no new mobs to enjoy in the new version, and most of the modifications made are minor or barely noticeable. Hostile mobs only spawn at Block Light Level 0. AI for Axolotls, Goats, Hoglins, Zoglins, Piglins, Piglin Brutes, and Villagers has been optimized.
