    Data Collection

    All of the materials that were collected are publicly accessible in full text online, and so no ethical approvals were needed to obtain them. They were collected in July 2020. Some of the statements underwent updating at the same time that data were being analyzed. In those cases, updated versions were reanalyzed and replaced the analysis of previous versions.

    Data Analysis

    The analysis was driven by a critical-interpretive approach (Denzin, 2009). Data were analyzed across three axes representing core aspects of ecological social work as presented in the literature review. The first axis relates to the relationship between micro and macro perspectives. The second deals with disciplinarity and inter- or transdisciplinarity.
