He gives life to whom He wills, as seen in the creation story (Genesis 2:7) and the resurrection of Jesus (John 11:43-44). God also takes life, as evidenced by the Genesis flood (Genesis 7:21-23) and deaths of Ananias and Sapphira (Acts 5:1-11).
