  1. • 2 yr. ago. AnAlchemistsDream. What's the rarest game you have in your collection? Lately, I've been interested in more obscure Atari 2600 games. Don't get me wrong, I love me some Space Invaders or Pitfall, but there's something interesting and unique about the lesser known games.

  2. There are some slightly expensive (~$50) games that are things like Pitfall 2 and H.E.R.O. that are games you might have had or played back in the day. Most of what I'd call 'truly rare' games get into the $200 range and that will include things like Quadrun and Waterworld.

  5. Arguably the best multiplayer game on the 2600, and one of the best on early consoles and maybe even 8-bit systems as a whole. Also an incredibly rare case of a 2600 game being effectively better than the arcade version, due to dropping some of the complexity.
