Dude, i was literally standing on my spawn spinning around, trying to figure out where i was. Later, when i learned new terrain and it's east to catch people who's trying to use "safe" routes. And even easier to catch new player who ran into new fields of death like between Weather Station and pier. I've ran shoreline 200+ times this wipe.

But in all seriousness if you last played back in 19/20 there have been a bunch of changes to loot pools since then...sometime around late 2021/early 2022 they made a huge change introducing "dynamic loot" basically spreading loot more around the map into random places. It severely impacted locked rooms. For example tape key is absolute trash now.
