  6. Synopsis. With a baby on the way, filmmaker Damon Gameau has become increasingly worried about staying healthy. His main concern is the hidden sugars in foods we commonly perceive as ‘healthy’. To reveal their dangers he commits to a high-sugar-only diet, allowing the camera to document every extreme his body endures.

  7. Plot. The film follows Gameau's experiment on himself, changing from his normal diet containing no refined sugar to a 'health-conscious' diet low in fat but high in sugar, equivalent to 160 grams (40 tsp) of sugar per day.
