It allows DLNA clients found in numerous devices like smart TV’s, media streaming devices, and mobile apps to stream supported media (music, video, pictures) from the My Cloud device. If you do not want or need to use it you can disable it via the My Cloud Dashboard > Settings.
Dec 4, 2020 · After removing the user name from accessuser= and the password from accesspwd= and then saving the file, I had to turn the Twonky server Off in the My Cloud Dashboard > Settings > Media then turn it back On. That cleared the Twonky username/password on the Twonky administration page for me on a first gen single bay My Cloud when the other method above didn’t work.
